Enjoy a full day tour around Phuket’s finest and most memorable places. Get picked up at your hotel around 07.45 (depend on you hotel location) and arrive at the first stop for the day around 09.00.
First stop is Soi Dog Foundation – a dog and cat shelter that rescues, treats, rehabilitates and rehomes. It’s more than 400 dogs and cats at this shelter! Thailand’s street dogs and cats continues to fight with the help of its supporters against the cruel dog meat trade in Asia. at 09.30 you’ll be taken on a round tour, learn about their incredible and impressive work and have time to be with the rescued dogs! We’ll leave the foundation around 10.40.
PLEASE NOTE: Soi Dog Foundation is a non-profit foundation and free to visit for everyone. We do not charge anything extra for this visit and do not make any profit on Soi Dog. The price you pay is just for the rest of the tour+transportation.
Around 11.00 you’ll arrive at a big Pineapple farm where you can dine a fresh pineapple direct from the farm, can it be any better? Stay at the farm for 20 minutes. Get back on the car for a 30-40 minutes drive to next stop: Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. This place is a unique animal welfare under the Wild Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand, working to rehabilitate unwanted or confiscated gibbons from the pet trade and tourist industry and to reintroduce suitable candidates back to the wild. Stay here for about 40 minutes. The tour continues with a nice and tasty Thai lunch around 13.00.
Feeling replenished, head to Big Buddha Temple, a 45 minutes long drive from the restaurant. Phuket’s Big Buddha is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach. Explore the temple before you’re taken back to your hotel.
The tour comes to its end around 15.20 and we’ll transfer you back happy and safe to your hotel.
